THE CHALLENGE x

GetWorkwearDirect.com was engaged with another agency who had been implementing a digital strategy across organic SEO and PPC. They started looking for another provider due to a 1:1 ROAS (Return On Advertising Spend) which was making a loss to the business.

They needed a partner that understood Ecommerce marketing, with the ability to scale out their current marketing budget and provide an increase in sales volume as well as an increase in return on advertising spend (without an increase in budget).

OUR SOLUTION x

Contevo did a full audit on the current strategy and business situation to discover the best strategy to move forward. As Get Workwear Direct was looking to prove its new online business model and get traction/data/sales fast, SEO was removed from the equation as it should not have been prescribed to begin with at this stage of their business. Being a medium to long term tactic, SEO was not going to give them any data or sales quickly and it didn’t make sense to have 60% of the budget allocated to it.

As a result, Contevo created an indepth PPC strategy with 100% of the marketing budget. This would ensure that we could get fast data and quickly scale out maximum growth from the existing marketing budget before adding any further marketing channels. After the implementation of an advanced Google Analytics and goal tracking set up, Contevo built out an Adwords campaign structure that focused on Google Shopping optimisation, as well as identifying profitable brand and generic workwear search terms on text ads.

THE RESULTS x

Our goal in this campaign setup was to achieve at least a 4.0x return on ad spend, while continuing to scale and find new opportunities for growth.

Over the next 6 months from we drove an increase of 271.55% sales revenue compared to the previous period, while achieving an 88.24% increase in the Ecommerce conversion rate.
